how much offset do i need/want on a 78 bronco with 6"/4.5" f/r lift with 38.5x15 tires w/15x10 white wagon wheels? james?

tates new 17"s are 5.5" BS and its been concluded that that is way too much....dont tell him i said that tho....my rear are 3" BS and stick out a lot. i'd shoot for somewhere around 4".

my bronco has 3.5 and they stick out a little bit

im gonna run 4 in back spacing with 38 swampers and 6 in of lift, that is what i would shoot at if i were you.

cool. i was worried about 1) rubbing the fenders (but i guess 15" wide tires, you really can't avoid that) or 2) rubbing the radius arms, and 3) wearing out the bearings too fast. 4wheelparts has a 10% sale on wheels and tires right now. gonna get them to mount/ballance everything.

Have them use the stick on weights if they will, won't get knocked off.

no my 17"s are 5" not 5.5"... and i like them that way

john brown and I measured...its closer to 5.5"

you must have measured wrong because they are 5"
