I think it's a dana 44, not a 60, but not for sure.

This would be a red flag with me... even though it says F350, maybe the guy changed it out to a 44 and is just playing dumb. Remember that the old 44's had huge hube on them. Go look at kopecki's... I'd ask the guy for a shot of the knuckles to see if you can see kingpins.

If you do end up getting it, I'll take the cab of your hands... maybe. My brother could use some interior pieces and the AC parts.

besides the fact that he seems to know what a 60 looks like and doesn't think it is one
"I BELEAVE IT IS A DANA 44 AND THE BACK IS 60. IT DONT HAVE THE BIG LOCK OUTS

i've emailed him for pictures already of somthing closer than that, if it is a f350 then it might be worth the drive, but im not going to bid some outragous ammount for it, would make it not a good deal. cause its gonna cost at least $350 to go there and drive back with a trailor, and that may be a little conservative. I'll post some pictures when/if he emails them back.

That's a normal internal 8 lug 44. Hubs not stick out enough for 60, and too small for external 44.

Most of us with old a$$ trucks could use the AC parts  And just think, the parts from that 78 oughta match up relatively decently with my 78; amazing how that works. :D

Ah, AC, how I miss it...

Oh yeah, I could definitely use some of the **** off that front 44 (shafts, etc.)

hey dingle hopper, don't pull and oliver here! Like Marc would really want to mess with all that crap... Not like this kid is really going to go up there and get it! So we're all just pissing in the wind.

Oh, by the way, I remember a truck that had a yellow cab in our driveway that would have been perfect for this! :flipoff2:

Oh kate, I've been waiting for this...
Think back to February...

...as for driving the late model car for two months, I could have definitely done without (I hate driving that damn thing), and a/c is useless to me; that's what windows are for...

If it had a front 60 i would have. i already went up to MO to get a truck earlier in the year. i'd do it again too if it was worth it.

Yeah, I remember that...and I think I'd be ok with the no a/c if I hadn't been sick recently....already feeling like ass with flu-like sypmtoms on top of a migraine ain't no fun and then getting into a truck with no a/c that likes to die at traffic lights sucks even more...but I'm all better now so it's ok. :)

mmmm, beer....damn, it's been a long time since I been to the Chicken. Gimme a holler!
