my low coolant light keeps coming on. however when i check the coolant its at the right level and the temp doesnt change at all. any ideas? thanks in advance

bad sensor. find the sensor and close the loop(circuit) to see if it goes away. if it's always on check a fuse-this may be tied to other acc./gauges

not a constant on, only about once a week kinda deal

are you checking the coolant when the engine is cold? my light can be on when you first strart it up and when the engine warms it will go away. If you ever have to top it up it can be a leak in the hoses/radiator or worse a head gasket or intake manifold leaking.

checked cold coolant level...its fine. still wonderin whats up, is there any way to check to see if my sensor is out? it wont throw a code if the light is not on, right? if its the sensor it would be on all the time right? this will come on around once a week, and if i turn engine off then back on it goes away...wtf?????? :confused:
