Hydro assist ram

I was looking for a ram to use for my hydro assist, when I found this

this looks perfect for my setup, and the price is good too. Any reason this wouldn't work? And where would be a good source for a hiem for the end of it?

okay, but those are all male rod ends, right? I would need the female kind of rod end to fit the threaded end on the shaft of the ram
