Well I finally trashed my 4" procomps and SOAed. I bought some
new stock springs that I got a pretty good deal on and got about
6" of lift and using a 1" body. Here a cpl of pics from the July 4th
run near San Angelo. The springs are still stiff and I'm rubbing
hardcore on all for corners and thats limiting flex pretty bad.
Going to get out the sawzaw and change to a 2" BL this weekend.

This is my favorite pic. This is "Air Time", no matter
what your setup is your going to get some air. Thought I was
going over on this one

This is the same climb, just getting a little help.

Then heres a cpl of flex shots, not to great, my camera died
before I got to some better spots. I'm hitting the tops of the
wheel wells front a rear, put a dent in the front, thats really
limiting my flex...sawzaw time

I'm resized and uploading the rest of the pics I got and putting
them on my site, I'll post a link we I'm done. Lots of action on
trip. Plenty of body damage, a blown mtr, a rollover and broken
parts...pretty kick ass

i think the reason your rubbing is cause you are using YJ springs. They are flat to negative arch stock. THerefore you do not get a tone of lift out of the setup. all of the YJs that have went SOA in this club are only running 33's cause thats what fits. on the other hand, i am running 35's with my SOA in the CJ. they are a little bit taller.

jeep looks good though. did you thionk about going with Wagoneer Front springs?

Yea I did, I went with these because I got em pretty cheap so
I have some spare $$$ for my cage. That and I really didn't want
to go with too much susp. lift on my first go around. Wanted to
keep my COG as low as I could and I'm kinda glad I did after that
first pic. These have a little arch in them but once they break in
they'll go flat or negative and I think they gave about 6".
I'm going to see how it does after I cut and add an 1". I should
be able to cut atleast 1/2 an inch out of each corner. I've also
got a .75" shackle lift from my SUA that I was thinking of putting
on but I'll wait till after I cut. If you come across some waggy
springs let me know

Yea my borther was there spotting for me and took those pics I
posted. He couldn't get his crusier up there though...he in the
middle of installing hydro steering.
Yea Matt tried to balance me out a bit just to be on the safe side.
He ended up on just about everyones tires on that climb. I
thought he was going to go over the top of the next Jeep that came up after me *** but wasn't able to get a pic.
I'm about to get Elmer to help me on a cage hopefully next week
and Joe's Cruiser should be done by the time we finish. I think he
also bought lockers but I'm not sure, been away workin for the
last cpl of weeks.
