View Full Version : Cibolo Creek day trip
I wont to play with my toy while I am in town. Does anyone wont to go to Cibolo Creek. The only day I can go is the 26th of Sept. It would only be a day trip.

Is it tame enough to take a stock truck on some of the stuff?

One of the cibalo cops is a good friend of mine and this summer I did plenty of fishing with him. When I asked him about it he said that no one really ever had any jurisdiction of it and not much has changed. Pretty much if you cause **** you'll get ****. But also it is not a "navigable water way" which if I understand it correctly that is the description of the new laws.

I think the "navigable waterways" thing is open to translation by the local law, but that shouldn't be a worry if you're in with them. That leaves TPWD as the only worry... I've never been to Cibolo though, so I don't know if they would even waste their time in the area.

what about one of the other cops that you don't know that might be a dick. he might not think the same way as your friend does. i would do some more checking before i go wheeling there.

when we went down there, some redneck came out in a wifebeater and waved his milwakee best and shouted 'yall b trespassin'!'
he'll probably call police if you go there.
I think it will be fine. Scott may know some more about it also. When I talked to him about it he did not say anything about not being able to wheel thee.

Why not go to the Den?

I'm sure its not a problem to wheel in Cibilo, but it IS considered a navigable waterway.

Why not go to the Den?
dunno, I'd probably be more interested in checking out the new, improved (de-crack whored) Den
Busa?
We went there a few times and did not like it to much. Just have to see. The creek is closer.

Busa,
Lynda's going to have my Dodge in Dallas - I won't have a tow rig... You sure Noah is going to let you get out of cleaning up after the party???
Thats fine. We really dont need to go. To much going on that weekend. I will just wait tell we move back over to the states in a few years to go wheeling with everyone. Not a problem.
