I wont to play with my toy while I am in town. Does anyone wont to go to Cibolo Creek. The only day I can go is the 26th of Sept. It would only be a day trip.

09-13-2004, 12:49 PM
Dont have a truck to pull a trailer any more. Will have to drive it.

Is it tame enough to take a stock truck on some of the stuff?

09-13-2004, 02:35 PM

really? news to me...

Please explain.

One of the cibalo cops is a good friend of mine and this summer I did plenty of fishing with him. When I asked him about it he said that no one really ever had any jurisdiction of it and not much has changed. Pretty much if you cause **** you'll get ****. But also it is not a "navigable water way" which if I understand it correctly that is the description of the new laws.

09-13-2004, 05:54 PM
I think the "navigable waterways" thing is open to translation by the local law, but that shouldn't be a worry if you're in with them. That leaves TPWD as the only worry... I've never been to Cibolo though, so I don't know if they would even waste their time in the area.

what about one of the other cops that you don't know that might be a dick. he might not think the same way as your friend does. i would do some more checking before i go wheeling there.

09-13-2004, 08:39 PM
when we went down there, some redneck came out in a wifebeater and waved his milwakee best and shouted 'yall b trespassin'!'

he'll probably call police if you go there.

09-13-2004, 11:59 PM
I think it will be fine. Scott may know some more about it also. When I talked to him about it he did not say anything about not being able to wheel thee.

09-14-2004, 01:49 AM
I've heard its safe.

09-14-2004, 02:37 AM
Why not go to the Den?

09-14-2004, 07:46 AM
I'm sure its not a problem to wheel in Cibilo, but it IS considered a navigable waterway.

09-14-2004, 08:20 AM
Why not go to the Den?
dunno, I'd probably be more interested in checking out the new, improved (de-crack whored) Den

09-14-2004, 08:35 AM
We went there a few times and did not like it to much. Just have to see. The creek is closer.

09-14-2004, 08:38 AM
dunno if i'll have my lift on by then, but if so then i'm goin. if not anyone goin got an open seat?

09-16-2004, 08:58 PM
I may have an open seat if anyone wonts to ride with me. just let me know.

09-21-2004, 10:07 AM
I'm in for sure, with an open seat, welded rear, and no-longer-ricey exhaust

09-21-2004, 10:16 AM
Lynda's going to have my Dodge in Dallas - I won't have a tow rig... You sure Noah is going to let you get out of cleaning up after the party???

09-21-2004, 01:15 PM
Thats fine. We really dont need to go. To much going on that weekend. I will just wait tell we move back over to the states in a few years to go wheeling with everyone. Not a problem.
