No - I'm not talking about the move Jerry puts on Frick every thursday night...
I finally decided to take the plunge and cut some unecessary crap off the Jeep. I've had the itch to flop the leaves around to get a little extra wheelbase for a while... so I went to town with the cut off wheel.

I also decided to ditch the old leaves in favor of this new configuration. It sits a little lower now, but they seem to be just as soft as before. The shocks that are leaning on my tire should be on tomorrow.
I took my driveshaft to a local shop to get retubed and rebalanced on thursday and picked it up friday afternoon. They added six inches to it, bringing it to a whopping 27". They even painted it flat black to cover up the surface rust that had taken over the grey paint High Angle used.

I checked upward travel in the safest way possible. :D A 48" high lift is apparently just enough to get both rear tires to come off the ground.
The gas tank is out and will be relocated tomorrow. I didn't take pics today so I'll get some finished pics up tomorrow sometime.
