couple weekends ago, right after the engine swap in Foley's Suzuki we went to the Superlift ORV Park in Hot Springs, AR. I dunno if anyone in the club's been there, but it was BAD-ASS. this place is 1400-1500 acres of land reserved for wheeling. they have all trails rated, and all trails start and end on main roads that lead back to the park entrance. there's a pretty nice store on site for snacks, drinks, ice, etc, and arent too outrageously priced. there's running water at every campsite and the owners told us that within a few weeks of when we were there they'd have the shower building up and running. what's also convenient is that the park is really close to town, and at least 3 auto parts stores, not to mention i think a wal-mart, grocery store, and most importantly, and closest of all....a titty bar. :gigem:

I didnt get to take as many pics as i would've liked b.c. Foley ripped the transfer case off the frame on his Zuk, leaving part of the case on the frame. that was on the night run Friday nite (we'd just gotten it turn-key running about 6pm before we left), so we hitched rides on saturday, where most everyone broke something. got a new x-fer case delivered saturday nite w/ some people who were coming up from Dallas and wheeled a couple hours Sunday morning before heading back. the Suzuki performed well, and the V6 will really go.

i definately think this should be a place people consider for a spring break trip. you wont run out of places to wheel even if you're there for a week, and its less than 10hrs drive from CS. even if you do get bored you can still hit up BMRA on the way back.

me, matt conlee, jimmy mancuso a couple of friends of ours went up there two summers ago and really liked it. This has been brought up as a good spot for spring break, the only thing we would have to work on is getting them to oopen it up during the week, i think right now its just friday sat and sun.

Hey Austin, tell Foley that a lot of Zuki guys build these:

He may know and not care, but those cradle bucket things are supposed to help Zuki cases out a whole lot. There are guys running healthy 4.3s and they don't break their cases with one of those buckets.
