Seems that I messed up more than the body last weekend. I glanced at my front passenger tire today and noticed the tread looked a little wierd. It's getting eaten away on the outer edge. Camber? So, I threw that side out alignment when I high centered on that rock. Well, at least I didn't bend a control arm again. Anyone know a cheap place to get it done? Or can I do it? I've never tried to do it myself.

Are the tie rods straight?

everyone used to always say "firestone, lifetime alignment"....but i havent heard anything about it anymore. i think people just quit caring and started rotating their tires more. jack up that tire and check the ball joints.

I'm real suspicious of that front control arm. I remember where it connects to the frame, it has a hole that you can slide the bolt forward and back and it has increments stamped on the frame. I might have pushed that arm back in that hole so its not lined up with the other side of the axle.

take a tape measure and start measuring the distance from the bracket to the axle, See if everything is aligned properly and if all else fails take it somewhere to get an allignment but I would be warned of it because alot of places tell you stuff is broken that isn't when they can't get it alligned

Aggieland Auto behind the DQ on Texas does a good job and they are not too expensive. I had the Bronco with completly different axles/suspension than stock aligned and it was only like $70. They also installed camber sleeves. I think for a ZJ, it is under $50.

I took it to the goodyear place by the walmart on 2818. $75, one hour, and no bull****. Not bad.

Nothing in particular. I told them I changed out the coils and needed the toe corrected.
