This is a rather dumb question, but here goes...

I had the shafts out of my Toyota rear axle and when I put them back in I didn't know what orientation they should be in. My reference is the bleed valve and brake fluid input. Should this part be at 12 o'clock or what? Is there a left side and a right side or are they interchangeable? Where does the parking brake lever go. I am looking from under the truck at each side, so this is how I am referencing my clock positions.

the part where the emergency brake hooks on...that should behind the axle tube and somewhat above it....if you were looking at the hub as if changing a tire....

i'd say 2 o clock and your bleeder is 12 if i remember right
