anyone have a code reader that will work on a 00 silverado that i can borrow? my service 4wd light is on and i wanna make sure that its just time to change fluids and not a major problem.

I have one at the shop in Hearne, I can get it sometime next week...... Or you can just go to autozone, and they will do it for free..........I charge a sixpack.......

I mmiigghhhtt be able to do it but I doubt it. What does the plug look like? My scanner has options for up to 2000 but it didnt come with a plug for my Z71.

beats the **** outta me. i figgured it just plugged into the under dash plug same plug as engine code reader.

just go to autozone mentioned earlier, i've done it plenty on times... its easy and FREE!!
