if anyone has two or knows where to get two cheap lemme know.
austin, feel like another scavenger hunt? if you find a couple of D44HPs in a jy, ill even let you have the axles as long as i get the covers.

just lift it up with that badass fork lift then add the fluid :) Ones off of just about anything other than a scout are a lot thicker than a scout one. I used one off a ramcharger, it's a bad dood. The trick is finding one at a junkyard that doesn't have a hole poked in it, but pulling it w/out dumping oil all over the ground. The guys at the yard get REALLY pissed when you do that :)

so, i read today that pretty much any d44 cover has a higher fill hole than a scout. so, it does not have to be hp i guess id just like a thick one like jimmy said.

fyi the ones out of a waggy are thicker that a hp ford cover, good luck

You could always cut out a rectangle around the fill hole and flip it over and re-weld. That would move it up an inch or two.

Just go balls out and weld some 1/4" plate on your covers
