Well as to the addition of FI of course comes problems im not associated with. Ive been driving lately and ill be cruzn at 2500rpm and it will all of a sudden go down to about 1000 and i cant do anything to get it back up. If i stomp on it i get nothin. Sometimes itll stay down for about 20-30 secs. Sometimes it just drops down and then right back up. Im thinkin maybe a short somewhere?? Sensor problems?? Not really sure at all.

ok well its not the tps and i have a MAF not a map sensor. I unplugged the tps yesterday afternoon and drove all over town and didnt have any problems. So i thought it was tps and ordered one. Well this morning on my way to Oriellys it did it worse than ever. I had to pull over on 2118 cuz i didnt know if my truck was gonna blow up or not. So i dont know if it has something to do with being cold? Could it possibly be a bad ground wire somewhere??? Im new to this FI stuff and dont really know who i can call and get an opinion from a shop. Since it doesnt do it all the time i think the fuel filter is fine. Its not setting any codes to gimme somewhere to start.

Gordon's and Doggert's on 21 east of 6. Doggerts is right away on the right, Gordon's a little further on the left. Highway 6 salvage, just past 21 on the west access road, take the tabor rd exit.

brett burris's jeep has this same problem. although it is a 4cyl TJ, i think your problem can be solved exactly the same way he solved his. he bought a totaled suburban from lil mexico... :flipoff2:
