3/4 ton Ford rear leaf springs

2wd and 4wd are different widths. you can use ones off anything up to `97.

So the 2wd F250 is 2.5" wide also?

no....sorry.....i just woke up, still trying to get the haze off my brain. i got drunk dials from 3 different girls last nite from 2:10am to 4:15am....so i didnt sleep well. F250s-350s use 3" wide springs both 2 and 4 wheel drive....but anything up to `97 will work. :D thx for pointing that out.

Hmm.... I'm pretty sure the springs that are on there are 2.5" wide. I'll measure after work to be sure. So, if 3/4 ton springs are 3" wide, then maybe I need to add a leaf or 2 from a 1/2 ton spring pack? I have the tools to play around with this (Eric Branton is my roommate, and our place is the current UglyFab World Headquarters). The other day I picked up 2200 lbs of mulch, which was probably a little much for a 1/2 ton. It was pretty interesting to see the tractor drop all that mulch in there, then mash it down with the front end loader.

what exactly are you trying to accomplish? ....and whats this going on? 2 or 4 wheel drive F150? you can put the heavier springs on it but it involves replacing your spring hangers with those off the truck you get the springs from....and thats a lot more work. if the trucks mainly used for hauling sh!t, put some airbags in the back.

it's only half a truck...the work half (not the fun half, like mine :D)
Some kind of extra overload would probably do the trick

Yeah, it's a trailer so only have the rear half (some have said the better half). I was hoping some of the Ford folks would have some leaves they could part with cheap. Air bags would be cool, but kinda expensive for a trailer I only paid $50 for. I measured and the leaves are 2.5" wide.
