It gouged the housing up where the birf sits some but not bad.
As far as ****ty axles...Bobby Long says they're unbreakable now :rolleyes:

it was a stock birfield, replaced both sides with longfields last weekend

I did - I guess it might be faster to pull the bearing caps. Mine were always hard to get off though...

The only hard part was taking the snap ring off and putting it back onto the birf. Maybe if I had one of those blingity snap ring pliers, but then what fun would that be.
Yeah that was my first. I was told to go with Longs a while back but what kind of toyota owner would I be if I didn't break a birf :D
