It's down in LaMarque. Don't know any history than the guy giving it to me. Said it runs. Drives it everyday for a minimal number of feet. Purpose of truck is to park it in front of his lawn shop every night to keep anyone from stealing. Then moves it to other side of shop every morning. Runs it for an hour every weekend. Body in decent shape. Normal rust. Interior has holes in floorboard. Exterior - burnt orange  . Regular cab, 8' bed. 400 engine. manual tranny w/granny gear. brand new tires, wheels, and brakes. stock 4x4. he wants to part it out, but said would give it away for said price. hell, you could get $2500 for engine, tranny, t-case, and axles.

Oh my bad. I took the contact information for the truck as your signature. My bad. I thought all that information was your signature. Nevermind:) But if you're looking for lawnmowers I've got a couple I could sell you if ya want. 100 bucks for a honda 3sp self propelled with fornt caster wheels. 21" deck. Its a year and a half old. or one that the pulley on the drive belt is out, I can sell that for like 30 bucks. Its about 3 years old.

John Deeres mower are ok for commercial use. but their customer service sucks comparted to exmark though. Plus the dont have all the options compared to exmark or toro.

don't know what you are thinking but JD commercial rocks. Thicker materials, better design, fast parts delivery, and I can get just about anything serviced in a half day.

Toro is just a bad copy; they haven't designed anything new in years. Same goes fro their irrigation line. Problem with people like exmark is you have to deal with small local shops and they are slow on turn around. A day down is a day lost revenue, much less half a week.

I have had plenty of guys who have worked for the greenery in the past who would not speak well of Exmark compared to Deere. But it is a free country, buy what you like. My ZTR has 1700 hours and been the shop twice in four years, seems like a good buy to me. Then again I have only been in business for 6 years, so you never know.

TORO irrigation is infact sh!t...rainbird has the market hands down...as for TORO mowers being ****...we never had any problems with the three commercial push mowers or the 48" walk behind that we had(that sum***** was fast as hell). i dont know what the cost of the deere mowers are but the commercial TORO push mowers are $900 and the walk behind was something like 5000. we used ECHO for the edgers, weedeaters, blowers, and hedgetrimmers. i believe they are good as long as they dont sit out in the rain all winter without ever being started. also they are pretty much the same as STHL.

saddly all that stuff is now gone as some asshat thief decided he needed our 16' trailer loaded down with 3 TORO push mowers, 48" TORO walk behind, 3 ECHO weedeaters, 2 ECHO edgers, 3 ECHO blowers, and 2 ECHO hedge trimmers. Thats not counting all the misc. parts and supplies that were on the trailer. We lost our ass on that cause the damn homeowners insurance said the stuff was for commercial use and not home use  ...guess we should have had commercial insurance on it.

Toro used to be be good, but they got bought out or something and are no longer the market leader anymore. Now they are one of those brands that is just some other make of mower, but rebadged with the Toro name.

I'm big on Echo also, never had any luck with STHL, always seemed to die in a year. Better fit and finish than Echo but no durability. Plus the local Echo guy has the best service.

better bring a couple blowdryers in there with you
tape the circuit breakers open first...underwater blowdrying draws a lot of current

Toro bought out exmark, or vice versa. I believe Exmark bought out toro. But as you know, it comes down to dealer support. Here in dallas richardson-saw-and-lawnmower is expensive as crap but their service is good. but they are the only jd dealer here and they jack the prices cause they can. Ive got in by 9 out by 5 service for me, but thats only because i am commercial. got any stuff ya wanna sell?:)

im kinda partial to murray's myself. products suck, but customer service rocks. if something breaks you just take it back to wal-mart and get a new one.

Actually I have to read the board at least one hour a day as homework for my remedial reading class. So the more stupid **** you post up about mowers the more stupid **** about mowers I have to read. Is there anyway you could type in some Berenstein Bears or maybe The Mouse and the Motorcycle that would be much better reading than this horse hockey about which mexi-machine is better.

PS as an alternative to drowning yourself consider roller hockey on the freeway :flipoff2:
