what drop is your ranger.....if it is driver then use that axle.

it will be easier or just as easy to convert it to 5x5.5 as it will be to convert a EB 44 to disks. even after you change it to disks you have to grind off the radius arm mounts so that you can weld perches on it.

also robert prolly has a parts list as to what parts you need. That axle is probably the best starting point.

one more question....does it have that vacume disconnect BS?

it the same as the ranger, driver drop, but i don't have the $$ to "convert" anything right now.i need to do the sas very soon too bc the ****ed up IFS is chewing up my tires quick as hell. no it isn't vacuum...

so if you plan on getting an EB 44 then how are you going to afford to convert it to disk breaks?

its cheaper to convert the wagoneer axle to 5 on 5.5 than it is to convert the EB axle to 297 ujoints ;)

correction...it's a poost 75 axle that has factory disks... And converting to 297's doesn't have to be expensiuve if you grab some junkyard axles and have them shortened...either way...I'd probably go waggy...that is if you don't care about width.

the wagoneer axle is just about the same width as the YJ axle he had/has....
