Who's the best? Who's the cheapest? I want to get a CV driveshaft cheap, and don't want to order it out of Texas. Who do ya'll suggest?

Is BVD still the place of choice? I need to get my front retubed something fierce.

locally? Yes. Probably pretty competitivly priced to a specialty offroad shop that you would have to pay shipping for. Just tell them what wall thickness and be prepared to pay by the inch. Hope you have a short driveshaft like I have on the jeep. When I retubed my rear d-shaft I only had to buy 11" of tube. I think sharpe just bought 30" or something similar for his shortened one.

It's relatively short, 18"s or so If I had to guess. I was going to ship it off to Jess at Highangle and have him rebuild the cv for me, but I think it is still in good shape. Once I got it out there was no slop in it at all. The tube just has some good dents in it causing it to wobble pretty good. My neighbor who retubed it for me may not have had it completely straight when he did it either. Is 3"x1/4" wall good enough? I don't know what kind of tubing they have there.

you mean kind of tubing, like specific sizes? I'm not sure either. I would think .250 would be plenty I did .120 wall on mine (which is still 2x the thickness of stock d-shafts).

I thought I had .250 wall on mine, but I don't know after the dents it got in it. Though it did run for a pretty good while like that (and run hard it did on a few trips) and it never taco'ed. :D
