junker sciff to throw my pole in a small lake somewhere a little further out from the pier. thinking aluminum, flat bottom, with or w/out motor. if with, somewhere near 25-30 hp. the cheaper the better as long as it floats.

a 25h on a 10-14 jon boat will roll you over. get a kayak. lighter, cheaper.

ive got a 25 i run on my 14' sometimes. doesnt "roll it over" but its too big. it planes too high and cavitates. your not gonna find anything with a motor that big for cheap...your not gonna find anything with a good motor at all thats as cheap as it sounds like you want. i think 15-18 hp is just right for a 14'er

15-18's fine. but i will need room for at least two poles; hence the need for something more than a kayak.

does this sound ok? haven't called or anything. just seeing if $600 is worth throwing away. it's the one at the bottom.

We have a 16' V-hull with a 20 HP sterndrive and that little ***** hauls. It wont get up on plane if someone is sitting in the front though.
