View Full Version : FAQ: Uploading trip pictures to the Event Gallery

The purpose of the event gallery is to try and get as many of the pictures from our trips into one area. This makes it a hell of alot easier for visitors to our site, and TAMOR members, to find pictures from our trips and not have to dig through threads to find links.

So, heres how to do it (will add screenshots when I get some free time)

1. Register on the TAMOR Member Rigs (http://www.tamor.us/members-rigs) gallery, if you have not already. Your account must be approved, as we limit access to TAMOR members, should only take a few hours tops.

2. Use the username & password you created to log into the TAMOR Event Gallery (http://www.tamor.us/events).

3. Click into the album for the trip you wish to upload pictures into.

4. Once in the album, create a "nested album" in which you will upload your pictures into. This keeps it somewhat organized, and any pictures not placed in a "nested album" will be deleted, I don't have the time to move them myself...it only takes 5 seconds for you to create the nested album, so do it ;) To make the Nested Album click on the drop down menu at the top right of the screen and choose "New Nested Album".

5. You will then be taken into your nested album, and you can then retitle it to whatever you want... "Yourname's Pictures" or whatever. Then upload your pictures.

Its the same for either gallery....

UPDATE
Due to storage limitations on our webserver, I have also moved the event gallery to my server...like what I did for the members-rigs image hosting a few months ago. The location is: www.tamor.us/events
