you should upgrade to a red stepside 2wd with less than 30k on the new motor, i'd say they go for about $4500

I'll sell you a bumper that you can hit plenty of deers wit. I'll check on factory **** with the biggest ranch hand dealer in the world tomorrow if I'm not drunk, at the lake, or otherwise engaged.

It was Frontier. But I checked and they don't make anything for your truck. Ranch Hand's all I can do for a full replacement, and that's a little expensive and a little heavy for you little pickup. Still haven't checked on a factory bumper. But here's a grille guard for one.

Rear. $389 +$45 for lights
Front. $775
Rack. Have to check monday.

Or if you want something different (http://www.frontier-gear.com/pages/FrontBumperReplace.html). Same prices for the bumpers.

Have another cheaper brand, very simular to hanch hand.

How much is this one?

03-'05 Chevrolet 1500, 1500HD, Avalanche, 2500
P/N: 200-20-3007

Just the grille guard, I think the full replacement would be too much weight for my widdle truck.

Texas Truck Riggins on S. College seems to be pretty cheap. My front grill guard was like $425 installed, which was cheaper than the ranchhand outlet place in Houston.

But I dunno how much good it would do against a deer. I just thinks it looks good. I know, :rainbow:

What kinda milage do you get outta that truck?

Lake Bryan yesterday. What is the best thing to fish with out there?

The mileage is not great. I'd say average about 13. Sticker said 14city 17hwy. I have never gotten better than 15.8, and that was all hwy with cruise at 70.

run synthetic and see what you get. I avg 12.5 w/ my big gas guzzling 454 4wd sub w/ 285/65 (33's) tires which may or may not help, a mpg robbing brush gaurd, and w/ the aero of a barn door. I've gotten as high as 13.8 on the highway usually avg around 13. plus you only have to change oil every 5-6k

Just been running motorcraft 5w20 every 5k, but thinking of switching to the Mobil1 on the next change.

sorry for the highjack

Best things at lake bryan is beer and live music. For fishing, the best things are beer and not worrying about taking anything off a hook.
