small block flex plate

well, in the process of turning my engine over, one of my toofs on my flex plate broke in 1/2. anyone have one? im not sure of which tooth it is...its from a 79.

I can probably get you one next thursday. it will probably have to be machined, it is well "seasoned"

how do i know which tooth i have and to get? how do i go about replacing it? what piece seal do i have? any help in that area would be appreciated. i think im just gonna buy a new one, they seem to be pretty cheap.

here's what I would do...find you a jack and raise up the radiator cap and slide a new truck underneath...then replace the radiator cap.
