yeah, it was pulled off a working truck a few weeks ago. I may even throw in an extra pitman arm if I can find where I put it

You don't even have the steering arms. I am a nuisance on the trail because I can't turn sharper than about 20 degrees. Why don't you wait for the next steering box to go up for sale when you have $100 to spend? :flipoff2:

OK ass. I won't talk any ****. I merely stated that I could use the thing RIGHT now especially since the offer came 5 days ago and no one in town had jumped on it. Money talks so pony it up....then set it in your garage. At least I ASKED you if it was OK instead of sending him the money quietly to secure it for myself. See you on the trails. :rolleyes:

yeah ok nuts, since i replied the same day... and dont give me **** about things sitting around, i dont do that... i did my entire chevy engine, tranny, steering, electric swap on my toyota in two weeks. by my self. and ive done more **** to my jeep in the last week than you have in a year...

but, if you need the box that bad, its yours... i really dont care, my original steering covertion works just fine the way it is. but i was about to do the swap... but you can have it

Anyone know if I need a drop pitman arm for steering? Marlin has em used for $100 without the pitman arm.

According to all pro, the stop pitman arm has a ball joint on it. I think I am going to have to buy one from them so I don't have to modify one. I guess you can take the box, Justin.

depends how you mount it. I have a flat pitman but I rotated the box when I mounted it so it would fit. Your current pitman may have the same splines. I know a lot of Japanese pitmans have the same splines, usually the difference is just in the index spline, which you can file out

actually i think coop needs rear brakes more than steering, take the darn box nutz.

i have brand new brakes all the way around ass.

i just did the fj-80 conversion.... but some red neck that owned the truck before me took out the rear proportioning valve... .which the new one is in my tool box..... but most of your brakes come from your front anyways so i dont even notice a difference unless in heavy traffic...

plus its easier to do burn outs :flipoff2:
