Since it appears we will not be hearing a reply from Tree's ranch, where else would we want to go? Gilmer or SA? If we do hear a reply from tree's, that may change things, but lets just pretend for now we won't and plan accordingly.

Personally I would like to go to gilmer, and save cibilo creek or the den for a day trip in november. Gilmer is much bigger, and has more to do. SA is fun, but I don't know if it warrants a full weekend trip.

I'll be ready to leave anytime after 12pm. I'm going to try to switch my schedule around so I can a little more sleep the night before. I do want to get there before dark, and the taco pulling the buggy isn't exactly fast, so I would definitely say leave before 2 pm.

AggieTJ2007
10-18-2005, 07:32 AM

73bronco

Doug you buying that 7/8 tap? otherwise I'm gonna cough up the cash for it

CRaSHnBuRN

CRaSHnBuRN
10-19-2005, 02:40 AM
hmm, I just checked the weather report, and it sounds like a cold front may be coming in late thursday. That should make it nice. Can you build fires out there? And if so, does anyone have some firewood?

AggieTJ2007
10-19-2005, 10:07 AM
yes you can build fires. in case you haven't seen erics videos

AggieTJ2007
10-19-2005, 10:07 AM

10-19-2005, 11:27 AM

CRaSHnBuRN
10-23-2005, 06:16 PM
robert came back saturday night after having some problems with pigpen. The rest of us stayed until this mornin but headed out early. Creighton was getting sick, and I still had to return the trailer after dropping off the buggy in BCS.

Quote of the weekend:

"I feel like a movie producer . . . . ahh!"

Said while sitting on top of a moving jeep while attempting to film the buggy's night run through the rockpile

Now if I could only upload that video, it hilarious

Nice pics. It looks like ya'll had a pretty good time. Good to see Pigpen out on the trails, even though it had trouble, better now than at Clayton.

agjohn02
10-24-2005, 08:43 AM
did yall go to the carnival?

CRaSHnBuRN
10-24-2005, 08:59 AM
no, we didn't hit the carnival. Robert and Garrett got in kinda late the first night (and then Creighton got lost showing them the way to the campsite :D ). The second night we spent attempting to night wheel, but I kept loosing beads

CRaSHnBuRN
10-24-2005, 09:00 AM
Plus watching them attempt to set up the tent was much more fun then any carnival would be

Sharpe
10-24-2005, 10:26 AM
And listening to them "duke it out" while we were trying to go to sleep. :flipoff2:
