Hey we need to start a post about the Nov. 6th run. I have 3 rigs coming from Longhorn Offroad with about 7 people all together, and 2 rigs from STR Offroad.

We'll have to ask him if that's the deal everytime, or just on work/wheel weekends. If he lets us work off our entrance fees, let's make sure and bring a torch this time. Tate, yours still available?

ill be driving my towlieban truck out there, just dont know if ill wheel it. might use it to drive from trail to trail though

yeah, ill pay to wheel this weekend, but I do have steves number so we can get a work weekend together.

Painting signs shouldn't take to long and it would be a good thing to do cause they have to dry

He said no problem if we want to work in exchange for fees anytime, but he doesn't know anything about a run sunday. He did say that there is a Saturday run planned with an EB club and we are welcome to join in, but he asks that we show up as a club at ten, when the EB guys get there, so we can sign in with him as a group.
If there are enough people who would prefer sunday let me know so we can get it set up with him.

I would perfer sunday because I cant wheel if its on saturday cause I have to work saturday night

If I were you I would go and check it out, if you aren't comfortable doing whatever it is, hop in and ride w/ someone else. That, or do what I do and run along beside like a lost puppy dog.

well either way Ill be out there doing some work on sunday. And Discovery dude, 47 is the perfect place for you to go, there are plenty of trails that are doable in a stock vehicle and won't hurt your paint

if you're on an easy-moderate trail and there's something sticking out to scratch your paint, get out and cut it.

of course that's the preferred method...as long as the machete doesn't do more damage to your rig than the branch would have :D

alright cool, i was out there last time and it was a blast, i just didnt know if yall would be going on any of the easier trails or just all the crazy **** out there, either way ill probably make it, scratches and dents jsut add character anyways

My buddy offered his help and his torch if we need it. But I cant go out there tomorrow, and have to work at 3 on Sunday.

BTW, i dont know what type of metal it is out there, but took 700lbs to Bryan Iron today and got $35, so $5 per 100 for short iron

There is a ton of metal out there, like all those pipes. It could probably translate into lots of money.

im glad i finally got to go out there... i cut some crap up and then wheeled the f150 a little... 2wd and open rear end make for not so good... i had hella fun though... both rockers got a little scratch action but no dents... and rear tires especially the pass side one are a little less... fun stuff
