go look at the junkyard, there are plenty of 9's bet you can find a housing that will fit

Why not use a truck housing? They're stronger

ill look at the junkyards next week, or later today if I go back. I think I may have seen one of the round housings.

I need a cheap housing too.
Flem, have you thought of buying the "C"'s and outher knuckles?
What about that True HI9?

stock ones break - if your going to build an axle from scratch, might be worth it to spend the money? Although - i've never seen a "C" break, only a few knuckles.

does it matter what the centersection comes from if you are putting in new tubes?
(yes it's from pirate) hmmm. it didn't show when I was logged off, but when I logged on it did, here it is attached...

Scott I already have those parts, if they break I'll upgrade later.

true hi 9 would be nice, but I'll probably settle for a much cheaper MW nodular case. "Cheaper" is relative at around $400, but it shouldn't break and will accept 35 spline shafts.

I think my year range is not up until 77, looks like around 75 they stopped using the housing I need.

Here is the best picture I could find in 30 seconds... notice the lack of webbing where the tube meets the housing. This is necessary because I don't want a stupid tall drivers side spring perch to compensate for the other side, and if for some reason it ended up spring under, I wouldn't want to lower the jeep.
