a "tire spoon" is a prybar thing you use when your time is worth less than the couple bucks it costs to have a shop mount tires on rims

I still think a tire spork would be the ticket :flipoff2:

Best tool I have for this is an old leaf spring with tapered ends.

wasted about an hour on the first one and decided my time was worth more than $25, not to mention not shredding my new blingbling rims. One tire needed 3 oz, one needed 12, one needed 16.5, and one needed 20.
PS ForwardAir is the shizzle. $60 to ship a pallet of rims from Albuquerque to Austin. Dropped them off Friday afternoon and picked them up Monday afternoon. :gigem:

Some American Racing alloy 16x7 with 3.5" bs, and 35x12.5 Trxus MTs.
Nothing special, but I think they will go well with the other upcoming improvements ;)

Tire spork...intriguing. Would that be used to eat titre salad? Eric, quit being mysterious about your project, you are not cool enough to get away with it. For all we know you are welding incense holders to your front axle and painting it tie-dye.

Well, several pieces of the uglytruck's coming attractions are currently residing in my garage. I've also supplied him with some of the other stuff he needed as well. But they're all top secret, so I'm not at liberty to discuss them. Hmm, I need a name for the top secret facility know as my garage. . . .

I got it! Feller + Skunkworks = Funkworks :flipoff2:

At least I have all those sets of tires out of the garage now.
