Sorry about the bombardment of new threads - but I have had a lot on my mind lately and I am curious wht everyone else knows about. So I want to put discs on the back of my truck. I like the better performance and easier service to them. I know that explorers used discs on 8.8s, and also that some of the newer f150s had discs on an 8.8 - anyone know what would be the easiest swap? I just started looking into this so i have no idea what might have to be changed over or if axle shafts etc make any difference. If you guys know anyone who has done it or have a good link post up! Thanks in advance.

there is a kit that jeffs bronco graveyard has. but its quite pricey. thats the only way i have heard of truck 8.8's getting disc brakes.

the newer f150s are a metric bolt pattern... stay away from it... but if you find one cheap let me know... wouldnt mind having discs on the daily driver

mustang or explorer ****, redrilled to 5 on 5.5

I think navigators and exped's might have even used a factory non vented 5 on 5.5 rotor
