Stupid question but, I've removed the warn locking hub and brake caliper and I'm wondering what else I need to remove to pull the rotor off so I can remove the shaft. I can see the bearings or whatever down inside but what do I need to pull them out?

spindle lock nut, washer, spindle nut, outer bearing?
Or are there 2 screws holding the rotor to the spindle?
edit: don't you have a chiltons?

I forgot to mention that whenever I pulled the spindle/hub/rotor assembly off I looked at the spindle bearing and saw that over half of the needles were missing. So what all is required to pull the bearing out? and how the **** am I going to press one back in with no press? I know this is probably hard to understand without pic's but I don't have a camera here.

you dont need a pres for the bearings. im sure its just frozen on there from heat. just grease them up and slide them back inside the hub and lock it down

Cool. The only other thing that kind of wierded me out was that whenever I pulled the rest of the inner shaft out I found a needle bearing sitting on one of the splines. I don't know how it got there or what from?

it was probably just in the bottom of the axle tube and got picked up by the shaft

dont think he's talking about the wheel bearings.

the little needle bearing inside the spindle is a pain to get out. i use a screwdriver and try not to booger the inside of the spindle up too badly. i usually have to split it down one side to get it out. i pulled one with a itty bitty gear puller at vatozone once. as far as getting the new one back in just use a deep socket smaller than the ID of the spindle but big enough to seat well on the bearing. make sure you clean up and burrs you made getting the old one out first.
