If I get this blazer, the only time I have in the next few weeks to get it is friday. I have a trailer about 2 hours away, but I have no time to get it between now and then. I'll take very good care of it and wax it like my dad makes me do to ours. ***

I need a lighter trailer, preferably 16ft since my truck has no ass to pull it. I can compensate for beer. Thanks

You know this weekend is the Nextel Cup Race? You will hit serious traffic both coming and going. Saturday is Busch Series, Sunday is Nextel Cup. Thursday and Friday will be qualifying and happy hour. The 287 exit is about 5 miles before the 114 exit for the speedway.

it looks like texas motor speedway is north of where i'd be traveling. I'm pretty sure I'd be taking 287 to witchita falls. I'm guessing you meant I'd hit traffic on 35?

yes, and 287 is the alternate way to the track from the south

how much traffic are we talking? Bumper to bumper?

Also, looks like it's just on the northside lanes so it would just affect going?

what john said plus I-35 generally sucks (especially on Friday and Sunday nights) from Waco until the I-35W split in Hillsboro and then sucks again in Fort Worth from I-30. Then it gets really sh!tty around north Loop 820 and stays sucky until the 287 north split a few miles up...compound this w/ race traffic and you have a really sh!tty situation that sucks big donkey dongs.

I'd be leaving here around noon on friday. Says it takes about 5 hours to get to witchita falls.

So none of this really matters if I can't borrow a trailer. Bueller, Bueller...
