View Full Version : extended brake lines
Where have you guys gotten extended brake lines? It looks like I can use my stock calipers, even though I already bought some new ones. So all I am going to need is extended lines, using my stock application. I know that I can have them made here in town at Bryan Hose, or maybe even capitol bearing. Also I know that I could prob get them from 4wheel parts. Is there any place that has a good prices, or better lines, etc that would make me want to order from them in particular? Let me hear.

go to o'reillys and tell them you want to look through their brake lines. i got extended ones for the scout and they still werent long enough. i used them and a set of ford linres to make it long enough. the fittings all worked together.

Bryan Hose was fast and by far the cheapest for custom lines. Not much more than a stock replacement and that was for braided stainless not rubber.

Speedway motors has nice braided stainless lines in various lengths for prety damn good prices. They have a/n fittings on the ends so you have to buy adapters too but its still the cheapest I've found. I think the 2 36" and 1 15" plus 6 adapters cost me $80 shipped to me. They aren't DOT approved though, but I doubt any inspection places would notice.
