HP A500N, specs here http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&cc=us&man_lang=en&dlc=en&product=405440&docname=c00070262 I think I have everything for it, CPU, monitor, speakers, keyboard, mouse, etc. I only used it a few months before my ex came along with a much more powerful dell, so this one went into the closet. I think it may have a virus and someone suggested reloading the OS to get rid of that. I bought a new laptop to use at school, so I don't need it any more and its just taking up space

150 bucks

What size monitor? If it's a 17" or smaller you can keep it and I'll do $100 for the computer. If it's 19" & up, I'll do $150 and be selling a monitor :)

Its a 17 in if I remember correctly. I would really rather prefer to sell it together, since I really have no use for it, and I don't know if anyone would want just the monitor.

you cant give a 17" crt monitor away anymore.

I traded a 19" "normal" (non-flatscreen) monitor for a set of dually hubs for my D60. That thing was ****ing huge, it took up half my desk, but the resolution kicked ass! My old roommate's grandmother gave it to me when my old LCD one went out.

I have 2 19" for sale, I doubt I'll get much more than $50 or $75. Just give away or donate that 17". I'm going to add memory, a better video card, and XP Media Center to this thing and hook it up to my projector. Those 3 things will cost me more than the computer! How about $110 and I'll give away the monitor :)

how about $125?

j/k, that's cool. You carry the monitor to the dumpster though.

Paypal invoice me at chris@chrisscotti.com

I'll be around Thursday & Friday AM if you want to bring it by, otherwise I can meet you next week.

Nope, I'm using money in my paypal account already. Get with the 21st century numbnutz! I just sent you a little "incentive" - actually it said you already had a paypal account - I hope cfeller15@yahoo.com is you! Actually I am pretty short on time this week and won't be able to run by the ATM. You can just transfer this to your bank account - or leave it in there for when I finally start selling my TOY stuff :)

You could jsut stick it on my front porch Friday AM that early. I'm not n a rush to get it, so we could meet up next week too.

it was me, but I don't use that anymore since I prefer not to support an anti gun organization. Quite honestly, last time I checked the account was not working for just those reasons (its set up on my dads credit card, and he used it to try to purchase a gun, therefore ebay and paypal tried to fawk with him). If it worked for you, thats kinda wierd, but like I said, its really not my account since it uses my dad's info.

I'll take the 17" monitor if no one else wants it.

Oh, and I talked to Randy (?) and he's supposed to be calling me back this weekend about a day desk job, so put in a good word...

The email is still yours so you should have access to it. The payment went through and it deducted money from my account. First I heard paypal was politically involved in anything.

yeah, paypal and ebay are anti-gun. You can have your account shut down if you buy stuff gun related. it doesn't happen all the time, but it does happen. Its been discussed on the PBB if you want to look into it. Since it took the payment, I guess I'll go see if I can get it to work.

Garrett, I've all ready discussed you with randy several times. Like I said, I think if you would have went up there and spoke to him personally a few weeks ago, you would have a job all ready. You coming and talking to him is what sets you apart from the other applicants, and gives him a chance to see that you're interested. We've hired 4 new people in the last 2 weeks, but lost 2 to graduation/internships, robert quit, and Kim was fired (woo hoo). So yeah, I would think we would need another person or two, since 6-7 people plus the 2 managers can get the job done, but does tend to stretch things thin. As for the monitor, come by and grab it sometime if you want it

paypal sucks for not allowing guns... it just seems stupid to me

i dont think its anti-gun policy. companies like that usually let their morals fly out the window when it comes to making money. i bet its a liability and ignorance thing. the parent company, ebay, doesnt know what is legal and what isnt and doesnt want to keep an eye on it, so they just forbid it all. not to mention the differing laws from state to state. if you notice most of the things they forbid are things that were outlawed in the "assault weapons ban". mags of less than 10 rounds seem acceptable to them. as to why they care if you use paypal for transactions on gunbroker, prolly the same reason. if you'll notice, their home offices are in cali where anything that goes boom is illegal.

and this coming from the gun nut that i am. i guesss i should just be outraged and send out a mass e-mail declaring a boycott.

I support the **** out of their anti-gun ass. They pay 4.6% interest on balances and it's set up like a bank account. Pay-pal is the shiznit!
