The mileage on the vehicle is 167,844. It has new tires. The timing chain and entire front end of engine was done less than 10K miles ago. At the same time a new alternator and new radiator were installed along with new hoses. Air conditioner works and blows cold. A new intank fuel pump was installed about 5K miles ago and so was the brake master cylinder. The clutch slave cylinder and all the u-joints were replaced at ~100K miles.

how much does it cost to get a dealer license? one where you can buy and sell w/o having to switch over the title?

agjohn02

you have 20 working days to do it anyways. just turn em quick and it'll cost you nothing. more than 20 working days and its a $10 fine. big whoop.

..or just don't date the paperwork. the reason for te dealer lic. is so you don't have to pay taxes.

Let me know if ya get one, I have been looking at getting mine for a while now. I have been to some of the dealer only auctions with old friend, and there are some killah deals that would make any joo jealous.

hard to be legit w/o raising questions when your selling a vehicle that you don't own/have title too. I know I would raise questions if I was giving a guy a few thousand dollars and the state of Texas didn't recognize the seller as the owner.

you should have the title, it just wont have your name on it. transfer it directly from the p o to the new owner. like you never owned it.

Technically your Dad has that bike... My bikes come with titles (not in my name) and you can ask Mike, Jerry, Jimmy or John Cox.... They run, I think there is a picture where John is missing pieces of his arm because of the fury my brother's old 100 unleashed....

Speaking of which Jimmy, since your brother in law is moving, where are you putting the death 100?

We were talking about that tonight, I guess I will buy him out (we went halves on a $250 bike) and then drive it up and down the alley when I get drunk. That, and take it to Gilmer once or twice a year, and let my friends try to kill themselves on it.
