the gears are all i need but if i were to have to buy a whole axle it would need to be cj nt so that i could use the shafts and hubs for spares

Axle may be free to a case of beer depending on ease of transportation. I think the axle is a high pinion though.

Sharpe

A YJ axle's gears will do you and your CJ absolutely no good. You need gears for a CJ low pinion Dana 30.

That first response came out a little wrong...

Yes we have some used gears. I don't know if we have those. I believe that my coworker and I will need to go check stock to see if we have what you need.

Brett...he might not know where we work. Might help to give him the number.

What happened with the gears? We have a couple more sets, but I need to know what the problem with the set I sent is before I can fix the problem. My coworker's notes look like a three year old pounded them out with their fists.

my boss said that the pinion was at least an inch too short, i'm going to go to the shop in a few minutes to look at them for myself, they are going into a 78 cj5 with a 304, t150, d20 not that any of that should make a difference

bburris

I'll go out there and measure what we have. If those won't work for you don't worry about it, we should have the right gears to send out, those must have just been labelled incorrectly. Sorry for the screwup, and tell your boss I'm sorry and the correct gears will be sent out ASAP.
