Ran the Rubicon this weekend with some local folks, had a great time. Did most of the trail Big Sluice, Cadillac Hill, Sluice Box all except for Old Sluice. Jeep was out at Rubicon Springs promoting the 07's, they had about 15 of them there including the 4-door. They where pretty cool but like most new models, will take some getting used to. Overall the trail definately lives up to its name. It is the perfect mix of trail and obstacles, I would highly recommentd it to any, in my opinion it would be worth the drive, not to mention Fordyce is another 3+ day trail that is harder.

My jeep is on the far right. 30* at night and in the 80's during the day.

This is usually when I interject something about your gayness. You're still a homo, but I am a bit jealous. It's pretty, BUT did you see any redneck/white trash boobies?! Advantage Alto!!!! ;)

When are you going to Long-arm that thing?

no white trash boobies for me, yes clearly an advantage of wheeling such fine places as Alto.

No long arm just yet, i have to keep it somewhat tame since it is my daily and yes I do have to give off some sort of sophistication :flipoff2:. I know long arms would be better, ride better but in the end would lead to more damage.

It looks like a good time. Was the trail as trashed and stinked up by human crap like everyone always makes it out to be?

edit: there is a guy pissing in the back ground!

Went to a Texas Rovers meeting tonight, they were talking about a run that had the best catered food they've had on an off road trip.
