Has anyone seen these yet? Seems like they would be perfect for full hydro or hydro assist.

I'm thinking of ordering one for the new rig. A 1.5x8 would be a good size to use for hydro assist on D60, right?

its non-rebuildable. maybe DOM like redneck rams and it'll leak since its not honed inside.

whats not rebuildable? The ram, or the ends?

1.5" ram w/ a 1" rod is going to be extremely uneven,

Do you think so, even if they sell a seal kit for it (look at the upper right hand corner)?

i guess it is rebuildable then. it just looks welded. guess it has a threaded cap on one end. get one so i can take a look at it.

seems like 2"x8" is what i keep hearing

2x8? You have any links to this? I always thought the 2 inch was generally considered to slow for on road use in a hydro assist application. The 1.5 gave a quicker response. But then again this was when I was researching for use with a stock toy pump, which is a little slow anyway

Most peoples like 1.5". That's what I have in my shed.

It may have an end that unscrews. It's probably just a cheap cylinder, but that would still be alot better than that crappy offroad ****.

I like the ram from rockstomper.com. I also used a Howe pump and cooler which are also nice, although I don't think the cooler pulls enough heat out. I may get a radiator type heat exchanger for it at some point.
