mcdonalds is on the otherside of wellborn. If you're going to put up a map, you should probably make it right!

sasquatch

damnit, i didn't see that. how they labeled the university on there threw me off

Doug Krebs
09-07-2006, 02:13 PM
lets see if this is below the file limit. Looks crappy until you blow it up!

Purple circled area is Texas A&M. Not sure why it erased my label?

wow, it's big! Although it should have more detail for new students that don't know the area well.

Hopefully most new students at A&M know how to read a map...

I showed up later. Could see people kicking up dust down the main trail. The gate was locked and it said "Don't climb fence" on a sign. Buzz kill.

How was it? As good in action as in our mind?

I had a good time and the Bronco kicked ass everywhere I put it, except that nasty mud. I do need a new solenoid as well as a t-stat....both of which randomly decided to crap out.

Overall it was a great time, I think alot of the new members had a good time. I think all the strap/winch safety aspects were covered today with everyone getting stuck.... :gigem:

Here's the pics I took, has alot of new member photo's.

it wasnt locked. it was just dummy locked.

Only if the dummy had the key. I got out and looked. Maybe it was suppose to be and the last dummy that went through actually locked it. Oh well

It looks like it was a raving success. Good job guys. I love seeing people out there with their stock rigs having fun... getting hooked. Awesome.

I'm pissed at Junior for stealing my license plate idea, but otherwise Flem and I had a great time. Tried a J-turn in the honda as we left, but couldn't get it to whip around like I wanted. It did good, bumps like a mofo!!

Somtime after you roll it. :gigem:

It was eery how quiet that thing is, I think you need to hack off your exhaust. When you came through the mud pit it looked like a Toyota commercial, it just needed some 70's rock. :gigem:

It was cool to see some new faces/rigs out there, glad you had a good time.

You know funny you should say that, I am saving up for either a magnaflow exhaust system (which maybe a huge waste of money) or a new bumper/winch setup. I am leaning towards the new bumper and winch.

BMFScout

I like the bumper winch idea, but magnaflow is good stuff.

Right now i just have to many choices out there for a front bumper replacement, but i just hate how much plastic is on my FJ, too easily beat up. I am tired of having to drive it like it is a brand new car.... oh wait it is a brand new car doh!

09-11-2006, 03:38 PM
Go with the bumper and winch. It'll do you much more good than an exhaust system. I like quiet vehicles anyway. Loud exhausts get annoying after a few minutes on the trail.

Start up a thread about your jeep. It has a few mods on it allready yes?

that is all fine and good, but we already have a Karl. I guess it's better than having another Robert, and we already have a few Ryans, but I don't call any of the three or four by their first name.
