I got a call from an old Tamor member. He wanted to go to 47 this saturday sometime.

I guess I should have brought up the atv issue in this thread as my brother wants to come down this weekend and wheel, but the cheby is not ready and he will be bringin the jeep and I have mixed feelins about wheelin it yet...

He was gonna drop it off in CS possibly and then just wheel the atv, but if helmet and safety course are needed then it may be a no go. I will talk to him some more and see what he wants to do.

When yall call to set up the time and all, can you ask about their atv rules, thanks.

All ATV and Motorcycle drivers are required to wear a DOT approved safety helmet.
No passengers allowed on ATV or Motorcycles.
All ATV riders must follow age restrictions set by the government.
Engine Displacement Age:
Under 70cc 6 and older
70-90cc 12 and older
Over 90cc 16 and older
Motorcycle and ATV drivers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian on the trails at all times.

Bad news, i called steve tonight, and his wife answered and said he would be out of town till sunday. I asked her if the park would still be open and she said she didnt think so. The only other person we could maybe call that would know, would be the other guy that kinda helps steve run the park, i think his name was jim something, and he ran the twd4x4 club i think if anyone has his number could you please post it up or give him a shout and ask yay or nay.

If it helps, let him know I am going & will be glad to lead & collect money - he has let me go out there before as a trail leader and without him being there to open the gate.

I can probably get a small group (3-4 vehicles) in to soggy bottom, but it's not all that fun because it's pretty flat & they want you to stay out of the mud pits.

What about Monday or Weds late afternoon/evening? I could also ask Jim to call me when th LR guys leave tomorrow so we could possibly go out for a bit late afternoon.
