I will be coming home the end of May for a cruise out of Galveston, and was wondering if anybody might be interested in takin a road trip right after finals. Looks like the last day of tests will be the 9th of May, and I will be getting in about the 11th (a Friday). I have to be in Houston the night of the 26th though for a reunion party and summer classes don't start until the 29th, so there is a decent window I think. What would be some good destinations? Trees, New Mexico, Colorado somewheres... I know this is a long way out right now, but I am tryin to get a handle on next years schedules so my crew and myself can schedule around things.

I'll have a couple weeks after I graduate to fart around before I settle into the real world, so I'm down. I haven't been wheeling anywhere besides NC, VA, GA, TN and TX, so anything west or north of here would be awesome

I was kind of hoping to hit CO, as I have never been west of San Angelo, or north of Amarillo. I have been out to North Carolina though. Maybe some of the CO vets will post up with some good places.

What about Moab?

It's near Utah I think.

Hmm...I've always wanted to go to CO, is that a bit early though?

I'd be down for sure...I've always wanted to go to Moab and Colorado...there's even Johnson Valley if you get really ambitious. Arizona has some good wheeling places as well. If you wanted to head east, there's alot of wheeling places around Tennessee and Kentucky. Carpooling and having people chip in for gas will be the only way to do it, get a few goosenecks that can carry 2-3 rigs on it.

Does anyone have a gooseneck that will carry 3? Avg temp for AZ in May is 79.

I'd love to go to Moab, and since some of the trails in CO won't be open, I saw we go there.

I could make the June 16th - 24th trip but would probably have to cut out early due to a cruise on the 27th of May (can't take a vacation longer than 30 days). It would be nice to have some time inbetween the cruise and the trip to wrench to fix my shiat from the clayton trip ( I am expecting to foul something up pretty good, so I don't get so pissed when/if I do break).
