Just feeling out an idea. Anyone got any cheap dana 44 reverse cut or ford 8.8 4.10 or 4.56 or something gears?

I have a repainted dana 44 rear end out of an old XJ, and I also have 4.56 gears for it. I was in the middle of a disk brake conversion on it. Really, all that needs to be done is the brakes need to be reassembled. It is possible that you may need to fabricate a spacer, but it wouldn't be too bad.

Just looking for the gears, thanks though. Those gears wouldn't work because they are not for high pinion (reverse cut) like ford uses.

for the spacer get a whole new backing plate from the dealer for a rubicon, they are only like 2.50 a piece or something. you will have to put new bearing on but I have an extra set I would sell for cheap

I have a whole backing plate that I pulled off a '98 ZJ, along with the disks, etc. That may work. I just haven't had the chance to actually try to put it together and see.
