I drunk posted that I would, but I'm not. Would be fun, but the football game is happening and I don't want to jack with bringing the Belle. I'd be in for spectating for a few hours before heading back to Dallas on Sunday.

BOOO! What time are ya'll thinking of going? I'll be hauling ass back from a wedding on sunday morning. If I get the rest of what I need done on the blazer this week, I'll still have to install the gas tank on sunday before 47. That and figuring out someway of getting there.

I wouldn't be scared to pull it on a trailer with my truck for the 4 miles from my house to there.

plan on leaving mcdonalds at 7 45 being there at 8 remember we are doing a trash pick up after wheeling that is the reason we are getting in for a reduced rate, if you plan to wheel please plan on staying to help cleanup our section of adopta highway on 47. Plan on trash cleanup starting around 12:00-12:30ish. More people the better for the trash cleanup, also jsut cause you are not wheeling you are still more than welcome to come help wth the trash pickup.

make sure and bring your 5 bucks per person not per rig.

Not too much happend b/c all breakage happened on the first trail. Stephen rolled his clean Wagoneer. Lost a back window, a windshield and frame, a valve cover and damaged drivers doors.

I have some serious issues with my whole drivetrain moving. THe T-case moved about 3" and broke my fuel filter canister, thus making me have to bypass it again.

Sorry I couldn't make it to the cleanup, i had to work at 2pm...come to find out later I actually misread my schdule and could have stayed out there.

i know where that was. was it so muddy you slid back down the creek bank and flopped or what?

actually it was too sloppy to get traction to turn, instead of turning to get a good shot at the incline it just kept going straight. After a few times of backing up to straighten it out (to no avail) i decided to take it further up the bank and it flopped. live and learn

and yea its my DD but i went home to pick up the aerostar so i have something to take to class and get around. The sooner the jeep is drivable the better

mudtoy67
11-12-2006, 11:01 PM
I'm not sure you'd want to use plexiglass, at least for the front windshield anyway. Plexiglass is not very scratch resistant, unless they've changed it recently, and when your wipers travel they'll scratch it up pretty fast. Especially with a bunch of mud on the window.

one option could be speedglass, if they make it for that application. The nice thing about those old waggys is that they're are alot of them out there for cheap, hence cheap replacement bodies. If worse comes to worse, chop off the top, build a cage and run a softtop

What ended up being the fuel problem?

95discovery
11-13-2006, 01:15 PM
theres an oil pressure switch that controls the fuel pump. if it doesnt sense any pressure, the pump wont work. When it flopped over it pulled the wires out of the sensor and therefor the pump wouldnt run.
