It is a 90 model(i thnk, its the old body syle) Chevy K3500, 4 door, dually. It has a 60 and I think a rear 70. It originally had a 454, but motor is not included with the truck. It is an old oil field truck from the Lubbock area and is now in Bryan. I know what the guy is asking, but just trying to figure out how much its worth in parts or if anyone is intereted in anything from it.

Is a dually Chevy 60 worth as much as a SRW d60? What is the 205 worth?

Depends on the condition. If just for the drivetrain and he hasn't been corrupted by offroad people, I'd try to get it for $250. It's just an old worn out beat up oil field truck with no engine right?

You wont get an honest response here. If its a good friend thats selling it, they can get $1k. If its someone you dont really give a **** about personaly, tell them $500 and give them my #, 361-815-2408.

if you can get it for 5-800 then you will be doing decent if all its missing is the engine.

what tranny if its a 400 with a 205 I bet you could get some decent money for that.

Tranny doesnt matter value wise because it either has a th400/np205 or hydro clutch sm465 with 32 spline output and np205. In both cases the 205 will have the round 6 bolt adapter pattern.

What's wrong with that?

What's wrong with that?

he's saying it has good value either way.

What I meant is that normal sm465/205 (mechanical clutch and 10 spline output) combos are not as valuable as th400/205's but since this vintage of truck would have a hydro clutch and 32 spline output if it is sm465 equiped, it would be as desireable as a auto.

I want an automatic with a clutch instead of a torque converter, and a 7:1 first, and a full manual valve body. I would call it powershift.

ever heard of a clutchflite lakewood made a kit back in the day to convert a torqueflit727 to clutch operation. I think this setup with a high dollar multi disk slipper clutch would be alot of fun. would be kinda like an on/off switch though

Hmm, a 727 would be my automatic of choice. What is a multidisc slipper clutch? Me and high dollar don't get along too well. Could it just be used with a normal type clutch and would that still be on/off?

a multi disk slipper is what u usually use infront of a lenco they have multiple clutch disks and steels that have adjustable weights and levers to make them lock up in stages. this is how a top fueler gets down the track with a 6000hp 6500rpm motor, single speed tranny and 3.90 gears with out blowin' the tires off.
