why don't you just go get some 1 1/4 ID pipe, the bushings should fit right in

For $20, I want it to come with everything. That seems too high for a bushing and a tiny sleeve.

Here we go, unless I'm missing something, they are half the price of bluetorchbuttrape

uh, didn't we cover this a couple of times in the last few weeks? Look in my buildup thread. There are some part #s for a set of replacement bushings for a jeep yj or something. Its 4 sets of bushings, with two 1/2 ID sleeves, and two 9/16 ID sleeves. Costs like 20 bucks for them from summit, and you can stick them in anything with a 1.5 ID, like 1.75x.120 DOM or 1.5 sch80. I just ordered 2 sets a few days ago and recieved them last night

it was for cj leaf springs. the daystar set also comes with smaller ones that are supposed to be used in the shackles i guess. don't know what to use those for

You can call offroad design and just ask for 1 1/2" spring bushings like I did. They are Daystar brand but they dotn advertise that.

in order to do 10-12 of them, you'll need 3 of the above (4 per set)

Creighton, which ones did you end up getting? I am going to need a few for the front trac-bar.

using busings in a front panhard can cuase death wobble pretty easy if it's not aligned correctly something more solid would be my suggestion

Maybe I am calling it the wrong thing. I am building a ladder bar to keep the axle hop down since I have the 56" springs up front now.

anti-wrap bar would be the word bushing ok for that. a tracbar is what some wrongly call a panhard bar. a track bar is on drag race 4 links from the axle housing lower to the frame side lower on the opposite side to take care of side to side location.

I ordered the pro comp ones. They fit very nicely into the 1.75x.120 tubing although 2x.188 tubing would work alot better.

Also in each kit 2 of the procomp ones come for 9/16 bolts and 2 for 1/2 bolts

Thanks guys, my ADD was hittin hard yesterday. :D

Creighton, you used the 1.75 on the rear correct? I wouldn't mind using the heavier tube, but I am going to be on a super tight schedule this time and I know I have plenty of the 1.75. ;) With this one being on the front and going to have to be so short, the heavier tube would be the way to go, I just need to find a few feet of it. Anybody have any handy they want to get rid of?

AggieTJ2007

yeah the rear is 1.75 for the bushings and upper part of the ladder bar and steering tube for the lower bar so you won't bend it like cook did

:D

Ok, I am pretty sure I have a little bit of that left. If not, I know I can get some good tube pretty quick at a few of my suppliers.
