okay, I've heard all kinds of methods for balancing tires, so what other methods other than lead weights (that get knocked off on the rocks) has everyone tried and had success with? Golf balls, BBs, small furry animals, etc? 40 inch IROKs and H2 wheels if that really matters

Stick on lead weights...go inside rim and don't get knocked off. You have to tell the boys at discount to stop *****ing and keep adding though :gigem:
I think they finally gave up on mine :)

That's what they used on my MTR's. Most were around 4 oz, one had close to 10 on before I made him take them off and start over again. I'm not too sure of the sticky on the back though, I'll probably tape over them to keep them in place.

I've heard of people having good experiences with those Centramatic Wheel Balancers.

air soft bb's is what me and clarke are doing whenever we get a chance. hippie has golfballs i think, and the lead stick on weights sucks, most of the ones they puton my wheels are gone now. and when i first brought them home one tires weights just plum fell off before i even mounted them.

i have airsoft bb's in the 40" irocs on the blazer, not a lot of road time but there was no vibration the 4 or 5 times that i got it up to 55. i didn't trust the steering enough to go any faster. I am going to put those in the 37" mtr's when i mount those next week. I put abt 2500 in each tire for the 40's which was a little shy of what i have seen recomended and i am going to put about 22-2500 in the mtr's

I used bbs once, seemed to work. Think it was in the goodyears. I don't think I had anything in the ssrs and don't in the tsl radials now.

i have the lead ones on the 40's and have lost most of them with no driving under bronco power yet... so dont advise them. i use the sticky ones on my f150 but dont think they would work on a big tire

about 2500-3000 air soft bbs will do the trick
