Some of you may know my Beaumont associate Jason Jones. He has 2 scramblers. One is a daily driver and in pretty good shape. The other was a parts scrambler. He has decided to make the parts one into a buggy. He is planning right now on running either a 4.3 or the jeep straight six with a TBI conversion. Probably stock tranny and t-case. The frame is pretty "Holy" so he needs to patch some of it. Anyways we started collecting the best part of it yesterday, as you can see in the pictures. The axles are from an ~85 CUCV Ambulance. They are 4.56 gears, the rear 14 bolt has a stock locker and the front is a 60.

Oh yeah the guy we got them from was also named Karl and went to A&M for a time. He was class of '02 and said he did some stuff with the club. I mentioned Doug and David O's name and he was kind of like yeah, I think I know em....

Those things are made of alumninum with insulation, they also have an A/C unit on the front and a heater that runs off of fuel oil in the back, plus 4 bunks!!! This particular one had what we believe to be a meth lab in the back....

Whats gonna happen to the rest of the truck? The ambulance CUCV's are fawking pimp, they were the only ones that came with a/c and I'm prety sure it should have either a detroit tru-track or detroit locker in the front as well.
