Would like to get a pull out that runs and I can use w/o rebuilding. The less crap I have to bolt back on it the better. 345 or 392 not pickey. Needs to run good and be reliable (if there is such a thing) mileage not really important.

called about an engine on NTB. The guy had a brand new, not rebuilt short block 392. He bought it 10 yrs ago and it was in a crate and soaked in cosmoline. He added the heads. He wanted a $1000 dollars OBO...yikes! Do you think it is worth $500?

How's the TJ running these days Brett? Oh wait....

$1000 for a brand new 392 with heads isn't a horrible price if you're into IH stuff, but I would think you could find a runner for $500. I got your voicemail earlier and I emailed a buddy of mine to see if he had anything. I'll let you know when I hear something from him.

eric his truck uses IH engine, not AMC. It was before the haymarket square riot so they were still using in-house engines.
