I've got a reamer, probably should work depending on the taper you need

the kits at ok4wd says the reamer is 7/16" - 1". http://www.ok4wd.com/index.php/catalog/product/rock_equipment_tie_rod_flip_kit/
and i don't want to have to buy this for a one time use. unless maybe if no one has one to borrow, would andrew want to split the price of the reamer with me? you said you wanted to flip your tie rod and drag link too. The more people that want to do this the lower the price of the reamer. any takers?

maybe but i am putting a d44 from a waggy in with chevy knuckles so i might do the tie rods on the other side of the axle

the waggy arm is 3/4 of an inch longer, so not much. you can come over and check the size of the splines to see if they fit. you can have it for 10 bucks

what do you mean tie rod on the other side of the axle. you mean below the knuckle?

I'm not sure if a pitman arm from a early CJ-5 manual box will work but I'm pretty sure I have one laying around if you need it.

hey garrett can you check to see if yours would work, for me please. I want to get the ball rolling on this and start ordering parts and i need to know if i have to buy the reamer or if i can get away with just buying the cones.

how do you measure the taper of a reamer, the kit requires a 7/16-1" reamer, do you just measure the diameter or what????

i think that means 1in per foot but dont hold me to that.
