Does anyone want my custom 1977 Cheroke Chief?

Its got a 409 that was suposably rebuilt 3 years ago and just set on a deer lease. Its the quadratrac alltime four wheel drive. The Top was customized by a sawzall and so were the fenders. It has 3 33x12.50 thornbirds and 1 33x12.50 mudder. It starts and runs and drives but the motor craft carb needs help and probly plugs and so on. It has power steering and works good. leaks transmission fluid and rear end pops, I'm sure cuz of bad spider gears. comes with all the glass and its all good except winshield. I have a boat gass tank and new lines that bypass all of the old crap and theres a strap that holds it down. Its a great beater it even started when it was like 30 degrees. It also has a shovel and a spot to put it inside the rear quater panel. The lights work but when you press the breaks the hazards come on and it comes with a hood.

its worth more then that.

On good days (when the stick holding the secondaries(sp?) open doesn't fall out) it can reach speeds up to 70 mph.

I do not put my beer where it gets hot, like on top of motors :flipoff2: . Its a waterbottle that covers up were the trans dip stick was.

I don't know how wide it is but can check this weekand. With 31's it fit on my lowboy that i don't think is a full 6 and a half feet wide.

just go out hwy 6 past hearne, and turn on 79 i believe, it is like 40-45 minute drive from college station, or liek 35 minutes if you go the back way. i worked there all summer it was boring.

Weston told me at the meeting he wanted it for 300 he said hes coming to get it friday or saterday. If he changes his mind I will let you know. The truck I was going to buy turned out to be a bust so I'm not as eager to sell, but still want to.

The trucks in Franklin about 40 miniutes driving the speed limit.

Go 6 north, then left exit but right on 79, take a left at the blinking light in Frankln, go oak grove gas station and hang a right, then first dirt road on the left and first trailer house on the left.

The battery does not come with it cuz its only half mine (long story). And if your cheap like me the carb doesn't have to be rebuilt to run good... you only have to have my pattened stick, which comes free, to hold the secondaries open.


And if you buy it you get the option to jump it on the new jump the gass well people built! *Warrning I have not attemped the jump and it may be dangeous cuz of gass pipes you probly dont want to hit.*
