what do you have left to do on the scout?

move the rear hangers on the front end forward and the front hanger on the the rear back.... the shackles keep inverting

and fix the fueling problem

I've got a few electic fuel pumps you can have if you want them, I'm not sure which ones work though

Fredo

probably scout lift springs. My front ones used to do it all the time. The longer shackles helped but I've still had one invert. Just carry a big pry bar and a high lift. :)

Superlift I believe.

I think they are skyjacker actually. When they invert we dont even need to use a high lift, even Danny's skinny ass can fix em with just the pry bar.

interesting, the rough country i had on mine never inverted.

as long as you are not going to drive it on the street, the longer shackles may work, but they will screw up the caster angle. mine had bad caster with the lift springs and drove like crap.

Well, I'm not talking about turning it into shacklesaruas, but my shackles I built are an inch longer than factory. It doesn't drive any worse than it did with just the 4" lift springs. Yeah, the caster angle sucks, but it always sucks when you do lift springs. John is right, Spring over with cut and turn knuckles is the way to fix it, but I drove mine for just short of 5 years with the lift springs, extended shackles, and 33, then 35" tires daily. Not to mention countless trips driving from College Station to Dallas. Sure, it wasn't the safest vehicle at 70-75mph, but it's not bad if you're not a *****. :) :flipoff2:

but yours will happily invert a shackle at times too.

I didn't say it wouldn't. I said in my earlier post it still happens.

I didn't bother to read, I'm busy announcing a girls JV soccer game. I don't have time for such tomfoolery.

yeah, i drove mine for two years like that. you get to where you see the bumps coming and pre-correct. its not impossible, but i did have several passengers tighten their four point harness on a two lane road. personally, id rather have a low scout that drives nice but danny's still a kid and probably wants it as tall as possible with loud exhaust. :flipoff2:

It had the lift on it when he bought it from my old roommate.

4 inch skyjacker springs is what it has on it, im goin to put the longer shackles on it today along with doing a few other things. My skinny ass is gunna be cold ***.
